Below you will find links to geogebra files that I have used in my classroom. I hope you enjoy them. If you have any comments or suggestions, please email me
This is deals with the period of of sinusoid using the cosine and sine functions. Be sure to download the accompanying worksheet. Just click on the picture that will take you to my high school website.
Parabolas
This is a file that I have used as an introductory file in both Algebra II and Precalculus. This gets students thinking and learning about the vertex and its relationship to the vertex form along with the relationship to the axis of symmetry. As always, any suggestions are appreciated.
Discriminant- Great file to show students when a quadratic functions have 0, 1 or 2 solutions. The activity is included with the sketch.
Rational Functions- This is a great introduction to rational functions and how to graph them using the power of GeoGebra. Please enjoy using this sketch. Documentation is included with the sketch. Please note that this could be used in the early part of a Precalculus course.
